Preliminary Exercise 15: Planning, Filming, Recording and Editing Sound in a Shot.

 Introduction

Prelim 15 was about filming and editing sound within a shot. We had to make a vocabulary for this as well as videos for this exercise. We took two days of filming and planning to do this assignment. We managed to do this in two class periods which were thankful for.



Section A: Planning a shot 

Scenario: Student is caught in trouble at school and is running away from a security guard. 

 

Shot Narrative Conventions 

Video synopsis (Be detailed. 3 lines minimum.) 

A student is caught escaping after school detention and is caught skipping by the school security guard. The student begins to run away from the guard while the guard chases after him on his golf cart. The viewers watch in suspense as they wonder whether the student will get away or if the security guard will catch up to him.
