Preliminary Exercise: How does the Sound Support Your Film in The Context of its Genre

 Introduction

I explained sound in a earlier blog post. When looking at my film, there are a few sound cues that audience should prepare to hear when watching for the first time. The lines, "I love him", "What do I do", "Everything is going well", and "Rumor" are reoccurring lines within our film. Some sound effects we added or used to our advantage is school ambience, school bell ringing, slamming doors, background chatter, footsteps, and crying. Four musical pieces that should be expected is Olivia Rodrigo, Frank Ocean and his song "Rushes", and later into the film any hate song by Tyler, or love song by Danial Caeser.

Reflection

After looking back on our planned sounds, we made sure that everything tells a bit of the story little by little. I didn't use any technology besides my laptop to just fill out what was in our movie on here. This exercise did help me reflect on our sound choices and just everything we've done sound wise.
