Editing in film is the process cutting and creating the final product of a film. Editing is significant to film making as it helps with narrative continuity and also allows to build tone within scenes in the film. The person responsible for editing is the film editor. Editors work and edit the film as the director sees fit. A famous film editor is Micheal Kahn. Micheal Kahn edited works like "Jurassic Park" and "West Side Story". He's number 2 in the top 100 greatest film editors of all time according to IMDB.
